4.0 Upgrading to iPrint

Use the following instructions to complete the upgrade of iPrint service:

  1. Follow the step-by-step instructions for upgrading to OES 2018 SP3 server. For more information, see Upgrading to OES 2018 SP3 in the OES 2018 SP3: Installation Guide.

  2. (Conditional) Follow the step-by-step instructions for upgrading cluster resources. For more information see Upgrading OES Clusters in the OES 2018 SP3: OES Cluster Services for Linux Administration Guide.

  3. Start the Driver Store.

    systemctl start oes-idsd.service

  4. Start Print Manager.

    systemctl start oes-ipsmd.service

    Now, the iPrint service is ready to use.

  5. (Conditional) In a cluster setup, execute Step 3 to Step 4 on each node that hosts the iPrint service.
