Explanation: The performance drivers ensure that utilization is low when the Remote Management Agent is running on Windows* 95/98 and Windows NT*/2000 workstations. But certain video drivers can be incompatible with the performance enhancement driver and may cause Windows to crash.
Action: Rename the following files to disable the performance enhancement drivers:
This avoids loading the performance enhancement driver on reboot.
NOTE: Remote Management installation detects some of the video drivers that were found to have conflicts during testing and skips installing them.
Action: Ensure that the performance enhancement driver has been installed on the managed workstation.
Right-click the Remote Management icon from the taskbar.
Click Information > the General tab.
The Optimization option will be enabled if the driver is installed.
