Creating a File or Directory on a DOS Namespace on a Server with Double-Byte Characters

If you create a file or directory in a DOS namespace on a server with double-byte characters, the file or directory will be created on that server with the name specified. However, the message to the FTP client might contain a different file or directory name. This happens in particular with the 0x8374 character in Shift_JIS, 30D5 in Unicode that gets converted to 0x8354 in Shift_JIS, 30B5 in Unicode.
