Known Issues

• When you create resource records, do not use wildcard characters to specify the owner's name.
• The Novell^® iManager browser-based DNS/DHCP management utility does not support Netscape*.

Special Instructions

• When you use the Object Selector to search for objects, ensure that the eDirectory^TM search context is correct by checking and, if necessary, changing the value in the Look In: field to reflect the correct context.
• While deleting RRSet and IP Address objects using the multiselect delete feature, limit the number of objects to not more than 5000. Deleting a large number of objects at one time might take a long time to complete.
• While creating a subnet, if you are selecting a default DHCP server, specify the eDirectory context of the subnet either using the Object Selector or by entering its Fully Distinguished Name. Do not use the type-name format (for example, o=dnsdhcp.novell).
