附註：在 Solaris 上啟動 Identity Manager 升級 (GUI 與靜默模式) 之前，確保執行 . /opt/novell/eDirectory/bin/ndspath 指令。
在升級了支援元件之後，需要升級 Metadirectory 伺服器。升級期間會更新檔案系統中儲存的驅動程式 shim 檔案。
驗證是否已停止驅動程式。如需指示，請參閱節 4.10, 停止驅動程式。
在 Linux 上，停止 lcache 程序。
若 Metadirectory 伺服器與遠端載入器位於同一部伺服器上，請手動停止 lcache 程序。
若 Metadirectory 伺服器與遠端載入器不在同一部伺服器上，升級期間 ndsd 程序會自動停止 lcache 程序。
在 Windows 和 Solaris 上，於啟動升級之前停止 lcache 程序。
從 Identity Manager 媒體啟動 Metadirectory 伺服器安裝程式︰

附註：將 Identity Manager 從 32 位元升級至 64 位元之後，Groupwise 驅動程式和原始自定驅動程式將無法運作。
