Troubleshooting Remote Management

This section provides information to help you troubleshoot the following Remote Management problems:

• Refreshing the Viewing window
• Remote Management does not work if imported workstation name includes extended characters
• After installing the Remote Management Agent, the performance driver conflicts with the video driver installed on the managed workstation.
• If JAWS is installed on the management console, ConsoleOne hangs on initiating or terminating some of the Remote Management sessions.
• During a remote control session on a Windows 2000 workstation, it is sometimes difficult to move the managed workstation's mouse or the mouse pointer might jump.
• On Windows 2000 Professional, the Application Log in the Event Viewer logs errors for every Remote Control and Remote View session.
